We are looking for an experienced and talented Software Engineer, who will contribute to Spotlab's mission of achieving high-quality and easy to use artificial intelligence for medical image diagnosis.

• Developing highly-responsive native apps using Kotlin (Android).

• With a belt full of Java, Kotlink, C++ under Android Studio, and some libraries like Tensor Flow, Parse SDK Android, SQLite, OpenCV,...

Or you would rather choose the full stack path:

• Designing, deploying and monitoring cloud based solutions to meet business requirements.

• Working with and innovate web application for Medical Healthcare and Artificial Images

• Improving and scaling existing applications and infrastructure.

• Helping to design and integrate AI training and inference workflows using AWS.

• With a belt full of tools like Angular, TypeScript, Python, Html, SCSS, TAML, Bash, Cypress, Prettier, ESLint, MongoDB, AWS, Parse … we do not expect you to master all of them, but we do not want them to intimidate you either.

Both paths will required you to

• Collaborate with the product, clinical and artificial intelligence teams to develop new features.

• Resolving technical problems as they arise.

• Helping to assess the business impact that certain technical choices have.

• Developing a flexible, maintainable and well-structured codebase following good practices and CI/CD

• Developing test code to ensure that existing and new features work as expected.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications required:

• BS in Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, Software engineering, or related technical field.

• No preview experience required

• Skills that we do not expect to you have all them, but certainly will catch our eye:

• Networking, data storage and security fundamentals

• AWS or other cloud providers

• Front-End and/or Mobile technologies

• Personal projects

• Scrum methodology

• DevOps theory best practices is another plus!

• Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic fast-paced industry

• Drive to explore and keep up with new technologies

• A dreamer soul and empathic heart, with the urge to create a positive impact in this world

• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal (spanish and english)

• Ability to work in a small team, full of multidisciplinary people and a fast-change environment.
