Clinical and Technology Business Development

Job description

In order to make this dream happen, we are looking to hire a full time Business Developer to join our Madrid (Spain) office. She/he will be reporting directly to the CEO. We are looking for the person that will bring to the market the first portable robotized microscope!

The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Identificating opportunities and building solid customer relations with hospitals, research institutions, and key opinion leaders in the medical area.

  • Spreading the opportunities and advantages of digital microscopy in the clinical and scientific sector.

  • Working closely with clinical product managers to define and implement custom solutions for clients.

  • Ensuring clients are getting maximum value from existing services to which they subscribe.

  • Providing primary training and education to customers.

  • Building a distributor network at a national and international stage.

  • Providing ongoing support for company clinical/marketing trials.

  • Keeping a pulse on competitors and the market to see where the product should be going. Watch consumer trends to identify desirable product traits.

Our ideal candidate to lead this challenge...
  • 2+ years experience in similar positions.

  • Understanding of Spanish medical device market dynamics.

  • Prior experience in microscopes is preferred. 

  • Experience and knowledge in hematology, pathology, microbiology or clinical analysis is an asset.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, proactive, result-driven.

  • Ability to negotiate and build relationships at all levels.

  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English.

  • A passion for new technology and how it is used to develop great products that can change the world.
